Out of concern for the safety, health, and well-being of everyone, the William Harris Homestead Museum & Education Center has made the difficult decision to cancel or postpone upcoming spring events and adjust our museum hours. Please see below for details.

The William Harris Homestead is a non-profit organization focused on serving as a cultural and educational center for the advancement of heritage, environmental, and agricultural scholarship. The support of our visitors, schools, Friends of the Homestead, and community is highly valued and is of the utmost importance. Join us for “Blacksmith Day” on Saturday, March 21, 2020, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
Our resident blacksmith, Doc Watson, will be on site with his apprentices to teach about the history of blacksmithing and demonstrate his skills at the forge and on the anvil. Tomahawk Hank and the Colonial Frontier Life Team will also be on site to teach about frontier skills. Spend the day enjoying hayrides, craft demonstrations, and celebrate spring at the Homestead! General Admission: $6.00 | Seniors (60 years+): $5.00 March is here, you know what means? Not only is Spring just around the corner, but we are NOW OPEN for Public Tours on the first and third Saturday of each month! Tours are also available by appointment.
