Experience history as it comes alive this Saturday June 6th at the William Harris Homestead Museum & Education Center!

We're pleased to welcome back the Appalachee River Settlers Group for another season of living history demonstrations. Step into an immersive frontier experience and discover what daily life was like in the late 1700s as you meet costumed settlers, explore authentic historical artifacts, and engage in fascinating conversations about trade beads, muskets, and the challenges of everyday life on the Georgia frontier.

The homestead is open to the public on the first Saturday of each month March - December from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with guided tours of the historic 19th-century log house and outbuildings offered on the hour from 10:00 AM through 1:00 PM.

Spend a beautiful day outdoors immersed in the past as you tour the historic log house, wander the grounds, and meet members of the Appalachee River Settlers Group as they bring history to life.

• Adults & Children (ages 6+) — $10
• Seniors (60+) — $8
• Children 5 and under — FREE
Tickets available at the gate.

Please check in with a docent (under the pavilion) upon arrival to receive a wristband before walking the trails or visiting with our special guests.
